I am a huge fan of Hootsuite. I love it for scheduling posts to Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ (even though it will also schedule to Facebook, I don’t use it for that channel). Recently Shana (Ray) Bull @sharayray told me that Twitter has it’s very own Twitter post scheduler.
What? Who knew?
It’s simple and free and anyone with Twitter can use it. Here’s how:
- Log into Twitter
- Go to https://ads.twitter.com
- Choose the new tweet button in upper right hand corner
- The New Tweet dialog box appears and it has three tabs “Delivery”, “Promotion”, and “Scheduling” (choose Scheduling)
- Compose tweet as you normally would and choose it’s timing
Should you use it?
I say this is an excellent tool for scheduling your Twitter posts. I still need a dashboard tool like Hootsuite because it allows me to also schedule to all my LinkedIn properties as well (G+ company isn’t too important to me) so I’ll stick with Hootsuite but I wanted you to know about it!
